punkbuster

i join a game, then about 20 seconds later i get kicked out by punkbuster.. what do i have to do to fix this?? thanks

my solution was to start C:\Program Files (x86)\EA Games\Battlefield Play4Free\pb\pbsvc_p4f.exe and reinstall it.

download pbsetup to update your punkbaster
turn off firewall and antivirus
when game is lunched go to task manager find bfp4f.exe and set its priority to below normal
lower your resolution

Any company, game or service provider that tells you that this is a 'solution' is an idiot.

You can set up individual bypasses/access for programs. Turning off your entire computer's virus defence is stupid.

I had PunkBusetB heartbeat stopped error. It is because of poor computer performance.
I use AVG and turning it temporarily down for 10 or 15 minutes (only chance to turn it down) solved problem. This problem occurs only in first few minutes ingame, afterward you can turn it on again. Same for lowering process priority.
also malware can cause some punkbuster problems
